MINIATURE, HIGH PRESSURE TRANSDUCERS
WITH AMPLIFIED OUTPUT Miniature amplified pressure sensors that operate at high temperatures in severe conditions have been introduced by Measurement Specialties. The new EPRB-1 and EPRB-2 sensors have an operating temperature range from -40° to +150°C. Output Signal is 0.5 to 4.5 V or 0 to 5 VDC. Both have all-welded small diameter 316 Stainless Steel packages that are IP-67 rated. Sensors are designed to withstand high temperature, shock and vibration. EPRB sensors accommodate any liquid or gas compatible with 316 SS. They are designed for fluid pressure measurement in motorsports, downhole exploration, aviation/aerospace flight testing, shipping and hydraulics. They are available in pressure ranges from 0.35 to 350 bar (5 to 5000 psi), configured as gage, sealed gage or absolute unit. Sensor body dimensions are 11mm diameter for EPRB-1 and 15mm diameter for EPRB-2. A large choice of models are available with threads M5 to M10 or 10-32 UNF to 7/16-20 UNF. Standard wiring is 1m cable. Additional cable length and connector output are available. They are CE approved. Measurement Specialties, Inc., designs and manufactures a wide variety of sensors and transducers to measure precise ranges of physical characteristics including pressure, force, vibration, position, humidity and temperature.
